Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is a bit better than the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, having an 85.2 score against 80.9. Even though the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is a lot older than the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, it's construction is just a little bit thinner and just a little lighter. Galaxy A9 (2018) has a much more powerful CPU than Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra features a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a bit higher display density, a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a bit bigger display. Galaxy A9 (2018) has a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy A9 (2018) also has a SD card slot that admits up to 512 GB.

Motorola Edge 30 Ultra takes much better pictures and videos than Galaxy A9 (2018), because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low light images and video, it also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor, a much higher 7680x4320 video quality and a camera with much more mega pixels.

The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra features better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a 32 percent bigger battery size.
