The Galaxy A9 (2018) is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, with an 85.2 score against 81. Galaxy A9 (2018)'s design is lighter and notably thinner than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, despite of the fact that it was released just 15 months before. Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) features a bit better camera than Galaxy XCover Pro, because although it has a lesser MP back-facing camera, and they both have the same aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) also counts with a way larger back camera sensor providing a lot better image quality and a way better 3840x2160 video quality.
The Galaxy A9 (2018) has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, and although they both have a SD memory slot that admits up to 512 GB, the Galaxy A9 (2018) also has 64 GB more internal storage. The Galaxy XCover Pro has a bit better battery life than Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has 4050mAh of battery capacity instead of 3800mAh.
