Galaxy A9 (2018) has an overall score of 85.2, which is slightly better than the Xperia XZ2 Premium's global score of 82.2. The Galaxy A9 (2018) body is noticeably lighter and extremely thinner than the Xperia XZ2 Premium, even though they were only released with a couple months difference. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a much sharper display than Galaxy A9 (2018), because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution and way more pixels per display inch.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a bit better processing power than Galaxy A9 (2018). Both have the same RAM memory amount and 8 CPU cores. The Galaxy A9 (2018) features a superior storage for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 64 GB more internal memory and an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
