Galaxy A9 (2018) is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, getting an 85.2 score against 77.7. Despite being the best phone in this comparison review, Galaxy A9 (2018) is a a little heavier and just a little thicker phone than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a slightly better screen than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), and although they both have a same size screen, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite also has a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and a just a bit greater number of pixels in each inch in the display.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and Galaxy A9 (2018) have similar processors, both of them have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor. Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) also has an external memory slot that supports up to 512 GB.
