Comparison review
The Galaxy A9 (2018) is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, having an 85.2 score against 76.6. Galaxy A9 (2018) is an older phone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but it's just a little bit lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 both feature quite similar displays, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a little bit bigger display, a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a just a little higher amount of pixels per inch in the display.
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) has a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) also has 3 GB more RAM memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low light images and videos, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a much bigger sensor taking much higher quality photographs and videos and a much higher 48 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
Galaxy A9 (2018) counts with a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because it has an external memory slot that holds up to 512 GB and 64 GB more internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has improved battery performance than Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a 32 percent bigger battery size.
