Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, with an 85.2 score against 81.1. Although the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, it's design is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018). They have 8 cpu cores and the same RAM amount.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a display that's very similar to the Galaxy A9 (2018) one, although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a just a little higher pixels number in each inch of screen, a little bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a little bit bigger screen.
