Motorola Edge (2024) is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), getting a 78.5 score against 74.4. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Motorola Edge (2024) has 14 version and Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) has Android 8.0 Oreo. Motorola Edge (2024)'s design is much newer and somewhat lighter, but just a bit thicker than Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016).

Motorola Edge (2024) has a more vivid screen than Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because it has a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution, a little larger screen and a little greater count of pixels in each inch of display. Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) features a very superior CPU than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.

Motorola Edge (2024) features much more storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. The Motorola Edge (2024) captures way better photos and videos than Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because it has a way better 50 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera, a way larger back camera sensor and a bigger aperture for better photography and videos in low-light environments.

Motorola Edge (2024)'s battery performance is just as good as the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) one.
