The Galaxy Note 5 is a bit better than the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), having a general score of 79.3 against 74.4. Even though the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) were only released 8 months apart, the Galaxy Note 5 is somewhat lighter and a little thinner. These phones come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Note 5 has the older 5.1 version and Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) has Android 8.0 Oreo.

Galaxy Note 5 counts with an incredibly better display than Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixel number in each screen inch and a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) has just a little better processing power than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) also has more cpu cores (although slower).

Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) counts with a quite bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds up to 256 GB. Galaxy Note 5 takes much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), and although they both have a F1.9 aperture and a 16 megapixels resolution back camera, the Galaxy Note 5 also has a bigger sensor taking better quality videos and pictures.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) features a much longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has a 67% more battery size.
