The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a lot better than the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), getting a overall score of 91.1 against 74.4. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition's construction is somewhat heavier but much thinner than the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016). Both of these devices include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has the older 14 version and Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
