Comparison review
The Galaxy A90 5G is much better than the OnePlus 8, having a overall score of 90.5 against 76. Although it's the best phone we compare here, the Galaxy A90 5G design is just a little thicker and somewhat heavier than OnePlus 8. Samsung Galaxy A90 5G and OnePlus 8 feature incredibly similar CPUs, and although the OnePlus 8 has a higher amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores.
The OnePlus 8 features a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A90 5G, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2400, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a bit greater number of pixels per inch of display. Samsung Galaxy A90 5G features a much bigger memory for games and applications than OnePlus 8, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A90 5G also has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Galaxy A90 5G counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than OnePlus 8, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity. OnePlus 8 has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy A90 5G, and although they both have a back facing camera with a 48 MP resolution, the same (4K) video quality and the same back camera sensor size, the OnePlus 8 also has a larger aperture for better images and videos in low light environments and better 60 fps video frame rates.
