Comparison review
The LG K40 has an overall score of 69.8, which is a bit better than Galaxy Amp Prime 3's overall score of 68.7. The LG K40 is a a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner phone than Galaxy Amp Prime 3, although both were only released 8 months apart. Both devices we compare here have Android OS (Operating System), but the LG K40 has 8.1 Oreo version while Galaxy Amp Prime 3 has Android 8.0 Oreo version, offering a couple nice extra features and performance enhancements.
LG K40 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Amp Prime 3, because although it has a just a little lower display density, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 720 x 1440 and a little bit bigger display. LG K40 has a superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Amp Prime 3, and although they both have the same 16 GB internal storage capacity, the LG K40 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB.
The LG K40 counts with a little faster CPU than Galaxy Amp Prime 3, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the LG K40 also has a greater number of cores (and they are faster). The LG K40 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Amp Prime 3, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, a camera with an 8 mega-pixels and the same (Full HD) video quality, the LG K40 also counts with a lot larger sensor providing a way better image quality.
The LG K40 features just a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Amp Prime 3, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
