The Galaxy C9 Pro is a bit better than the LG V30, having an 81 score against 79.1. The Galaxy C9 Pro body is somewhat heavier but just a little bit thinner than LG V30, and both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. The LG V30 features a better display than Galaxy C9 Pro, and although they both have a display of the same size, the LG V30 also has a higher pixels number in each display inch and a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2880px.

Galaxy C9 Pro counts with improved battery life than LG V30, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 3300mAh. The LG V30 captures clearer photos and videos than Galaxy C9 Pro, and although they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the LG V30 also has a way higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a larger diafragm aperture.
