Both phones in this review use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy A8 Star has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy C9 Pro has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Galaxy A8 Star's design is newer, but just a bit thicker and just a little bit heavier than Galaxy C9 Pro.
Galaxy A8 Star counts with just a bit better screen than Galaxy C9 Pro, because it has a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2220px, a little bigger display and a little bit greater pixel number in each inch in the display.
