Galaxy Nexus is a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Core 2, having a 64.3 score against 59.2. The Galaxy Nexus is a thinner and just a little lighter cellphone than the Samsung Galaxy Core 2. Both devices in our current comparison work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Nexus has older 4.3 version while Samsung Galaxy Core 2 has Android 4.4.2 version.
The Samsung Galaxy Nexus has a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Core 2, because it has a much better 1280 x 720 resolution, a bit bigger display and a much greater screen density. The Galaxy Nexus has a little bit better storage for games and applications than Galaxy Core 2, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 16 GB internal memory capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Nexus's processing unit is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy Core 2 one, because although the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has an inferior number of 1.2 GHz cores, it also counts with an extra graphics processor and 256 MB more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Core 2 counts with just a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Nexus, because it has a 14 percent bigger battery size.
The Galaxy Nexus takes much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Core 2, and although they both have a 5 megapixels camera, the Galaxy Nexus also has a much better (Full HD) video resolution.
Even being the best phone of the ones we compare here, Galaxy Nexus is also a bit cheaper.
