Samsung Galaxy Core 2 Review

Samsung Galaxy Core 2 is a little bit outdated Android cellphone, packed with a Quad-Core processor speeding at 1200 MHz, a 4.5 inches multi-touch display, and two cameras, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 0.3 megapixels front-facing camera.

This cellphone comes with a fast Quad-Core processing unit running at 1200 MHz with 768 MB of RAM memory. The Core 2 has a moderate 4 GB internal memory, which is enough for most users having that it also has a slot for external memory cards to store songs, photographs and videos.

This cellphone is just 0.39 inches thick, making it one of the thinnest cellphones in the market. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Core 2 is only 5.13 inches long, it manages to contain a 4.5" display. Samsung appears to have forgotten about weight optimization in this 4.87 oz cellphone. This phone is offerred in two colors, black and white.

This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, a 5 megapixels back facing camera and a 0.3 MP front side camera. It also captures videos in 720x480 at 30 frames per second. In addition, this phone's camera also features some nice characteristics: auto-focus, flash, smile detection shooting, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

Samsung equipped the Samsung Galaxy Core 2 with a good level 4.5 inches display, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , providing this phone with a very good graphic quality. Its display uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

This device includes Wi-Fi connection (and it can be provided to other devices acting as a wireless router or modem), 4G HSPA+ connectivity, which is not as fast as LTE networks and 3G fast internet connection, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. This phone has 2 Micro SIM cards so it is able to work with two different phone lines and even different carriers.

This cellphone also features some interesting characteristics such as Bluetooth (4.0), GPS and FM Radio, and some sensors likeLight Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

The Core 2 counts with a medium sized 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery that provides this cellphone a quite short battery duration.
