The Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ body is somewhat thinner and notably lighter than Galaxy Grand, although both of them were released only 2 months apart.
The Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ features a way better hardware performance than Galaxy Grand, because it has more CPU cores, an extra graphics co-processor and 1 GB more RAM. The Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ counts with a much better looking screen than Galaxy Grand, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ also has a way higher 1920 x 1080 resolution and a way higher pixel count per inch in the screen.
The Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ captures much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Grand, and although they both have the same video definition and the same video frame rate, the Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ also has a back camera with a lot higher resolution. The Galaxy Grand has a quite bigger memory to store more games and applications than Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+, because although it has just 8 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 64 GB.
Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ has better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Grand, because it has a 2500mAh battery size.
