Samsung Galaxy Grand Review

Samsung Galaxy Grand is a good quality Android phone released back in 2012, provisioned with a great performance Dual-Core processing unit ticking at 1.2 GHz, a 5-inches capacitive display, and two cameras, an 8 megapixels back facing camera and a 2 mega-pixels front camera.

This cellphone is just 0.38 inches thick, making it one of the thinnest cellphones nowadays. The Grand is a very compact cellphone, taking into account that it has a 5 inches display and it only has 5.65" long. The Grand feels much lighter than what you would expect from a cellphone of this size.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand is equipped with a good 800 x 480 5-inches display, providing this phone with a decent graphical experience. This display uses TFT capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

This phone ships with a good performance Dual-Core processor ticking at 1200 MHz with 1 GB of RAM. A good advantage of this cellphone is its big 8 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards, allowing you to install hundreds of apps and games without any problem.

This phone provides Wi-Fi capability (and it can provide it to other devices as a mobile hotspot), 4G (HSPA+) connectivity, that is not so fast as LTE-A or LTE 4G networks and fast 3G connectivity, using HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone supports dual sim cards to be able to to use two different phone numbers or carriers in the same phone.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand has two cameras, an 8 mega-pixels back camera and a 2 mega-pixels front side camera. It can also film Full HD 1920x1080 videos. This phone also counts with auto-focus and flash.

This phone has a 2100 mAh high capacity Li-Ion battery, which isn't very much for a device like this. Samsung afirms this phone has a 10.2 hs talk time and a 440 hs stand by time.

The Grand is being sold for about 477 dollars, high for comparing with other similar phones. It doesn't matter whether you are looking for a gamer device, will use it as a work cellphone or are looking for a phone mostly for internet broswing and social networks, you will definitely be very happy with it.
