The Xperia TL is a little bit better than Galaxy Grand, with a 66.1 score against 60.1. Although Xperia TL and the Galaxy Grand were released only 3 months apart, Xperia TL is just a bit thinner and just a little lighter. Both of these phones come with Android OS (operating system), but Xperia TL has the older 4.1 version while Galaxy Grand has Android 4.2.2.
Sony Xperia TL features a more vivid display than Galaxy Grand, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a way greater quantity of pixels per screen inch and a much better 1280 x 720 resolution. Xperia TL counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy Grand, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit and a 1 GB RAM memory, the Xperia TL also has an extra graphics processing unit.
Xperia TL features more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Grand, because although it has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB against 64 GB, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Xperia TL captures a lot better photos and videos than Galaxy Grand, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Xperia TL also has a back camera with lot more megapixels.
Galaxy Grand features a bit superior battery life than Xperia TL, because it has a 2100mAh battery capacity against 1850mAh.
In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, Sony Xperia TL is also by far the cheapest.
