The Apple iPhone XS has a global score of 84.2, which is much better than the Galaxy J5 (2017)'s general score of 71.8. Even though Apple iPhone XS is a little bit heavier than the Galaxy J5 (2017), it's just a little thinner and newer. IPhone XS has a way better looking screen than Galaxy J5 (2017), because it has a little bit larger screen, a lot better resolution of 1125 x 2436px and much more pixels per inch of screen.
