The Galaxy Note7 has an overall score of 79.5, which is better than the Galaxy J5 (2017)'s 71.8 general score. The Galaxy Note7 is a just a bit heavier cellphone than the Galaxy J5 (2017), but both have the same thickness. Samsung Galaxy Note7 has a bit better processor than Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with more RAM.
