Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is better than the Galaxy J5 (2017), with a score of 80.1 against 71.8. The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro design is a lot newer, but notably thicker and heavier than the Galaxy J5 (2017). The Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a lot better looking display than Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater display pixel density and a much better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.

The Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy XCover FieldPro also has more RAM. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a much better memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy J5 (2017), because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal storage.

The Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a much better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity. The Galaxy J5 (2017) has a superior camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low-light images, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Galaxy J5 (2017) also counts with a camera with more mega pixels.
