The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is way better than Galaxy J5 (2017), getting an 88.9 score against 71.8. Although the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is notably newer than Galaxy J5 (2017), it is extremely thicker and way heavier. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a much better looking screen than Galaxy J5 (2017), because it has a way larger screen, a higher pixel density and a much higher resolution of 2088 x 2250px.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has more RAM. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy J5 (2017), and although they both have a same size aperture, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has a lot better 108 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a much better (4K) video quality.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy J5 (2017), because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy J5 (2017), because it has a 35% more battery size.
