The Galaxy Note8 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, with an 83 score against 76.1. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat. Galaxy Note8 is a just a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier cellphone than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max.
Galaxy Note8 features a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Note8 also has 2 GB more RAM. Galaxy Note8 has a slightly better display than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a better pixel quantity per inch of screen, a bit bigger screen and a much higher 1440 x 2960 resolution.
Galaxy Note8 captures clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a back-facing camera with less megapixels resolution, and they both have a F1.7 aperture, the Galaxy Note8 also counts with a lot higher video quality. The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a way bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has 32 GB more internal storage.
Galaxy Note8 has a battery lifetime that is just as good as the battery life in Galaxy J7 Max.
