Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 is better than the Galaxy J7 Star, with an 82.6 score against 73.1. The Sony Xperia 1 is a newer phone, and it's also a little thinner and a bit lighter than Galaxy J7 Star. Xperia 1 has a much better looking screen than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has a bigger display, a lot higher 1644 x 3840 resolution and way more pixels per display inch.
The Xperia 1 features a greater performance than Galaxy J7 Star, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 1 also has 4 GB more RAM. The Sony Xperia 1 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a lower 12 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a bigger sensor taking higher quality photos and videos, a lot higher (4K) video definition and a larger camera aperture.
The Xperia 1 has a very superior storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy J7 Star, because it has more internal storage capacity and a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Sony Xperia 1 has a battery duration that's very similar to Samsung Galaxy J7 Star's battery duration, although the Sony Xperia 1 also has a 3330mAh battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy J7 Star. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy J7 Star, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
