Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31s is slightly better than Asus ROG Phone 5, having an 88 score against 84.7. Even when the Samsung Galaxy M31s and Asus ROG Phone 5 were released only a couple of months apart, the Samsung Galaxy M31s is lighter and a little bit thinner. Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with just a bit better performance than Galaxy M31s, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy M31s, because although it has a little inferior amount of pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a little bit larger screen and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2448px. Asus ROG Phone 5 has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy M31s, and although they both have a same size camera sensor, a same resolution camera in the back and the same aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 5 also has a much better 7680x4320 video resolution.
The Galaxy M31s features a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy M31s also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Galaxy M31s and Asus ROG Phone 5 both have quite similar batteries.
