The Galaxy M31s has a general score of 88, which is slightly better than the LG V50 ThinQ's global score of 83.7. Both phones in this review include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy M31s has newer 11 version while LG V50 ThinQ has Android 10 version, providing the user a lot of extra features and a performance increase. Galaxy M31s is a newer cellphone than LG V50 ThinQ, although it is just a little heavier and thicker.

LG V50 ThinQ counts with a bit better processing power than Galaxy M31s. Both of them have the same RAM memory amount and 8 cores. LG V50 ThinQ features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy M31s, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px and a better quantity of pixels per inch in the display.

The LG V50 ThinQ counts with a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy M31s, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG V50 ThinQ also has an external SD slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy M31s has a way better battery performance than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.

Galaxy M31s shoots better photographs and videos than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rate and a tinier aperture which is not nice for capturing photographs in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Galaxy M31s also counts with a much bigger sensor taking much better quality videos and photos and a way more mega pixels camera.
