Comparison review
Galaxy M40 has a general score of 85, which is a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 8's 79.5 global score. The Galaxy M40 is an much older device than Asus ROG Phone 8, but Samsung managed to make it thinner and incredibly lighter anyway. These phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy M40 has an older 10 version while Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14 version.
Galaxy M40 features a very superior performance than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has 6 GB lesser RAM, they both have 8 cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 has a sharper display than Galaxy M40, because although it has a just a little lower display pixel density, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bigger display.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 features a slightly bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a very superior battery performance than Galaxy M40, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
Asus ROG Phone 8 shoots much better photographs and videos than Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a back camera with a much higher 50 mega pixels resolution, a lot better video resolution and a lot bigger back camera sensor taking lot better quality photos.
