Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 has a general score of 85, which is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone 8's general score of 83. These devices include Android operating system, but Galaxy M40 has an older 10 version while Asus ZenFone 8 has Android 11. The Galaxy M40 design is somewhat thinner and a little bit lighter than Asus ZenFone 8, despite of the fact that it was released around 23 months before.
Asus ZenFone 8 has a more vivid display than Galaxy M40, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a little greater pixels density and a little higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. Asus ZenFone 8 has a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy M40. Both of them have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM.
Samsung Galaxy M40 has a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Asus ZenFone 8, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 14 percent larger battery size.
Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a much better camera than Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for capturing photos or video in low-light environments, it also counts with a much larger sensor shooting way better quality videos and pictures, a much more MP back camera and a lot better video quality.
