Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 has a global score of 85, which is much better than the Huawei Mate 20 lite's 76.2 score. Although Galaxy M40 is a bit thicker than Huawei Mate 20 lite, it's a bit lighter and newer. Both of these devices have Android OS, but Galaxy M40 has older 10 version while Huawei Mate 20 lite has Android 8.1 Oreo.
Huawei Mate 20 lite and Galaxy M40 feature similar CPUs, and although the Huawei Mate 20 lite has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Samsung Galaxy M40 and Huawei Mate 20 lite feature similar displays, both of them have a screen of the same size, the same quantity of pixels per screen inch and an equal 1080 x 2340 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy M40 captures better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because it has a back camera with lot more megapixels, a way better video resolution and a bigger aperture to take better low light images and video. The Galaxy M40 has a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20 lite, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 512 GB, the Galaxy M40 also has 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Huawei Mate 20 lite features just a little bit longer battery life than Galaxy M40, because it has a 3750mAh battery capacity.
