Galaxy M40 has a global score of 85, which is a little bit better than Huawei P10 Plus's overall score of 79.8. The Galaxy M40 design is a lot newer, but just a bit heavier and thicker than Huawei P10 Plus. Huawei P10 Plus counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy M40, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher display density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px.
Galaxy M40 counts with slightly more memory to install applications and games than Huawei P10 Plus, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy M40 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 512 GB. Huawei P10 Plus has a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy M40. Both have 6 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores.
Huawei P10 Plus features a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy M40, because it has a 3750mAh battery size. The Galaxy M40 shoots much better pictures and videos than Huawei P10 Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy M40 also has a much higher 32 mega-pixels resolution back camera and a bigger diafragm aperture.
