The Samsung Galaxy M40 has an overall score of 85, which is slightly better than Moto G30's general score of 78.1. Samsung Galaxy M40's design is thinner and lighter than Moto G30, although it was released a bit more more than a year before. Samsung Galaxy M40 features a little bit better hardware performance than Moto G30, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.

Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a more vivid screen than Motorola Moto G30, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a much better pixel count per inch in the screen. Moto G30 counts with a way better battery life than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 43% greater battery capacity.
