Galaxy M40 is slightly better than the Moto Z3, with an 85 score against 77.6. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy M40 has an older 10 version and Moto Z3 has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Galaxy M40 construction is newer, but a bit heavier and somewhat thicker than Moto Z3.
Motorola Moto Z3 features a display that is just as good as Samsung Galaxy M40's screen, although the Motorola Moto Z3 has a bit lower number of pixels per display inch, a quite smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2160. Moto Z3 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy M40, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Motorola Moto Z3 counts with a bit bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Galaxy M40, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy M40 has just a bit better battery performance than Moto Z3, because it has a 3500mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
The Galaxy M40 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Motorola Moto Z3, and although they both have the same video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy M40 also has a much higher resolution camera, a larger camera aperture and a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking better quality pictures and videos.
