Galaxy M40 has a general score of 85, which is much better than the OnePlus 7T Pro's general score of 75.8. The Galaxy M40 construction is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than the OnePlus 7T Pro, even when both were released with only 4 months difference. The OnePlus 7T Pro features a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy M40, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the OnePlus 7T Pro also has more RAM memory.
OnePlus 7T Pro has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy M40, because it has a greater display density, a better 1440 x 3120 resolution and a bit larger screen. Galaxy M40 features a little bit better memory for apps and games than OnePlus 7T Pro, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 512 GB.
OnePlus 7T Pro has longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 4085mAh battery size. The OnePlus 7T Pro takes much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy M40, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality, the OnePlus 7T Pro also has a back facing camera with a much better resolution, a bigger aperture for better images and videos in poorly lited situations, a way larger camera sensor providing a much higher image quality and higher 60 fps video frame rate.
