Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 is just a bit better than the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, getting an 85 score against 80.1. Even though Galaxy M40 and OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren were only released with a couple of months difference, Galaxy M40 is lighter and somewhat thinner. Both phones in our current comparison have the same Android 10 operating system, so both of them should give you all the same operating system features.
The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren counts with a little better performance than Galaxy M40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren also has 6 GB more RAM memory. OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren features a little sharper screen than Galaxy M40, because it has a little bigger screen, a higher screen pixels density and a higher 1440 x 3120px resolution.
The Galaxy M40 features a little bit better storage to store more games and applications than OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren features greater battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 4085mAh battery size.
The OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren captures much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy M40, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren also has a larger aperture to take better low-light images and video, a lot bigger sensor taking much better quality videos and photographs, better video frame rates and a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels.
