Comparison review
Galaxy M40 is much better than the Galaxy A22, with an 85 score against 76.1. Both phones we are comparing here include Android operating system, but Galaxy M40 has the older 10 version and Galaxy A22 has Android 12 version. The Galaxy M40 body is just a little bit lighter and just a little thinner than Galaxy A22, even though it was released 2 years before.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 features a bit superior processor than Galaxy A22, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a larger amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy A22, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a higher display pixels density.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 shoots much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A22, because although it has a way lower 32 MP resolution back camera, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better images and video in low-light situations and a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution.
