Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M40 is a little bit better than the Galaxy A40, getting a general score of 85 against 79.6. Both devices we are comparing have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy M40 has the older 10 version and Galaxy A40 has Android 11 version. Samsung Galaxy M40 is a somewhat heavier phone than Galaxy A40, but they are equally thin.
Galaxy M40 has just a little better processing power than Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy M40 also has a greater amount of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy A40 has a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy M40, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A40 also counts with a little more pixels per inch of display.
Samsung Galaxy M40 shoots better photos and videos than Galaxy A40, and although they both have the same aperture and a 0.36 inches camera sensor, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a back facing camera with much more MP and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition. Galaxy M40 has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A40, and although they both have a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB, the Galaxy M40 also has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Galaxy M40 counts with a bit longer battery life than Galaxy A40, because it has a 13% larger battery size.
