Comparison review
Galaxy M40 is a bit better than the Galaxy M21, having a overall score of 85 against 84.1. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS, but the Galaxy M40 has older 10 version while Galaxy M21 has Android 11 version. The Galaxy M40 is an older device than the Galaxy M21, but Samsung managed to make it thinner and lighter.
The Samsung Galaxy M21 features a little sharper screen than Galaxy M40, because although it has a little less pixels per display inch, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy M21 also counts with a bit larger display. The Galaxy M21 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy M40, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Galaxy M40 has a very superior memory for games and applications than Galaxy M21, and although they both have an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy M40 also has more internal memory capacity. Samsung Galaxy M21 captures clearer videos and photos than Galaxy M40, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not good for low light photography, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy M21 also counts with a lot bigger camera sensor shooting much better quality videos and pictures and a much higher resolution back-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy M21 counts with a much better battery life than Galaxy M40, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
