Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M51 has a global score of 87.7, which is a little bit better than Galaxy M40's 85 overall score. Both of these phones work with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so they should provide you all the same operating system features. The Samsung Galaxy M51 construction is newer, but much heavier and thicker than the Galaxy M40.
The Galaxy M40 has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy M51, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2340px, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a little more pixels per screen inch. Galaxy M51 and Samsung Galaxy M40 both have quite similar storage for applications, games, photos and videos, they have an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB and the same 128 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy M51 features a little bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy M40. They have 6 GB of RAM and 8 CPU cores. Galaxy M51 counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for capturing photos and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Galaxy M51 also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back facing camera with a way better 64 MP resolution.
The Galaxy M51 has a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 100% greater battery capacity.
