Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 is a bit better than Galaxy M40, with an 87.4 score against 85. Both devices we are comparing here work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S6 has 5.0 version and Galaxy M40 has Android 10. Even though Samsung Galaxy S6 is older than the Galaxy M40, it's construction is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner.
Galaxy S6 has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy M40, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and an additional graphics co-processor. The Samsung Galaxy S6 counts with a much sharper display than Galaxy M40, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a better pixel density.
Galaxy M40 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S6, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a bigger aperture to take better low-light images and video and a much higher resolution back facing camera.
The Galaxy M40 has a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S6, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy M40 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. The Galaxy M40 features greater battery performance than Galaxy S6, because it has a 37 percent more battery capacity.
