Galaxy M40 is a little bit better than the Galaxy XCover FieldPro, getting a general score of 85 against 80.1. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but Galaxy M40 has older 10 version while Galaxy XCover FieldPro has Android 8.0 Oreo. Galaxy M40's construction is noticeably thinner and incredibly lighter than the Galaxy XCover FieldPro, despite of the fact that it was released about 10 months before.
The Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a little bit better looking display than Galaxy M40, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a higher screen density. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy M40, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
Galaxy M40 has much more storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, and although they both have an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB, the Galaxy M40 also has 64 GB more internal memory. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro features improved battery lifetime than Galaxy M40, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
The Galaxy M40 captures a lot better pictures and videos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller camera sensor giving a worse image quality and a smaller aperture, it also counts with a much better video quality and a lot more MP camera.
