Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 II is slightly better than Galaxy M40, with a 91 score against 85. The Sony Xperia 1 II body has the same thickness than the Galaxy M40, but it is just a little bit heavier. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS, but Sony Xperia 1 II has newer 11 version and Galaxy M40 has Android 10 version.
Xperia 1 II counts with a brighter screen than Galaxy M40, because it has a lot higher pixels count per inch of screen, a much better 1644 x 3840 resolution and a little larger display. The Sony Xperia 1 II counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy M40, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB and 256 GB internal memory capacity.
The Xperia 1 II has a bit faster CPU than Galaxy M40, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia 1 II also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
