Comparison review
Xperia 5 II is slightly better than Galaxy M40, with an 87.2 score against 85. The Xperia 5 II is a a bit lighter phone than the Galaxy M40, but both of them are equally thin. Xperia 5 II counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy M40, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia 5 II also has more RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia 5 II features a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better screen density and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2520. Sony Xperia 5 II counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy M40, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Sony Xperia 5 II also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Galaxy M40 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Xperia 5 II, because although it has lower video frame rate and a way tinier back-facing camera sensor taking less light and dull colors, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and a F1.7 camera aperture, the Galaxy M40 also counts with a camera with a lot higher 32 mega pixels resolution.
