Samsung Galaxy M40 has a general score of 85, which is better than Sony Xperia XZs's overall score of 77.2. Samsung Galaxy M40's design is newer and a little thinner than the Sony Xperia XZs's, but it is just a bit heavier. Samsung Galaxy M40 has a bit better CPU than Xperia XZs, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and more cores.
Xperia XZs features a screen that is very similar to the screen in Samsung Galaxy M40, because although the Xperia XZs has a quite lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch of screen. Galaxy M40 counts with a way bigger storage to store more games and applications than Xperia XZs, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 512 GB and more internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with greater battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZs, because it has a 21% larger battery capacity. Xperia XZs takes much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for shooting photographs and/or video in low light environments, a way worse 19 MP resolution back camera and a lower video definition, it also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor.
