Comparison review
Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has a general score of 86.6, which is a little bit better than Galaxy M40's 85 general score. Both phones in this comparison review come with the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect. The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 construction is newer than the Galaxy M40's, but it's much thicker and incredibly heavier.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy M40, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 also has a higher amount of RAM. Xiaomi Black Shark 3 counts with a display that is just as good as Samsung Galaxy M40's screen, because although the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has a little lower number of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a quite larger screen.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 counts with a superior camera than Galaxy M40, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low-light photos and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 also counts with a much more megapixels camera, higher 60 frames per second video frame rates and a lot bigger sensor which offers a much higher image and video quality.
The Galaxy M40 features a way bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 3, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy M40 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 features a much better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 4720mAh battery size instead of 3500mAh.
