The Galaxy M40 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, getting a global score of 85 against 82.7. Both of these devices use the same Android 10 OS (Operating System). Galaxy M40 is a somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter phone than the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, even when both of them were only released with a few months difference.

The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy M40, because although it has a little less pixels per inch of display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro also counts with a bit larger display. Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for capturing pictures and videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video definition, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro also counts with higher video frame rate, a much larger back camera sensor which provides a much better photo and video quality and a camera in the back with a much better 48 mega pixels resolution.
