Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M40 has a global score of 85, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Max's score of 77.5. Although the Samsung Galaxy M40 is a little thicker than Xiaomi Mi Max, it's somewhat lighter and also extremely newer. The Galaxy M40 counts with just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the screen and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
The Galaxy M40 features a bit superior CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy M40 also has 2 GB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy M40 features slightly more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB.
Galaxy M40 shoots much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Galaxy M40 also has a back facing camera with a lot higher 32 mega-pixels resolution and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low light captures.
Xiaomi Mi Max features a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy M40, because it has a 39 percent bigger battery capacity.
