Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, getting a overall score of 85 against 77.5. The Galaxy M40 is a way newer and a lot lighter device than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, but it's just a little thicker. Galaxy M40 features a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per display inch and a slightly better 1080 x 2340 resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a greater amount of RAM. The Galaxy M40 features more memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy M40 also has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
Galaxy M40 has a superior camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy M40 also has a back facing camera with lot more MP, a larger sensor capturing better quality videos and photos and a lot bigger aperture to take better low light captures and video.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has 5300mAh of battery capacity.
