Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a global score of 85, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi Note 10's overall score of 83.7. Even though the Samsung Galaxy M40 and the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 were released only a couple of months apart, the Samsung Galaxy M40 is lighter and somewhat thinner. Both phones in this comparison review work with the same Android 10 operating system, so both of them should offer all the same operating system features.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 features a bit sharper display than Galaxy M40, because although it has a just a little lower display density, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2340px, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 also counts with a little bigger display. The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a much bigger memory to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Note 10, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 features a little bit better performance than Galaxy M40. Both have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM memory. Xiaomi Mi Note 10 takes much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy M40, and although they both have the same aperture, the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 also has a way larger camera sensor providing a much higher image quality and a way more mega pixels camera in the back.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy M40, because it has a 50 percent more battery capacity.
