Samsung Galaxy M40 has an overall score of 85, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro's score of 78.7. Both of these phones have the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't see any differences regarding that. Despite of the fact that the Samsung Galaxy M40 is older than Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro, it's design is thinner and lighter.
The Xiaomi Poco M2 Pro features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy M40, although it has less RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores.
