Comparison review
Galaxy M40 is a bit better than Xiaomi Poco M3, with a general score of 85 against 78.2. The Galaxy M40 is an older cellphone than Xiaomi Poco M3, but Samsung was able to make it thinner and somewhat lighter anyway. Both devices in this comparison work with the same Android 10 operating system. Samsung Galaxy M40 has just a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has 2 GB more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a little more vivid display than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2340px, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also counts with a bit better screen pixels density. The Galaxy M40 counts with much more storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB, the Galaxy M40 also has 128 GB internal storage.
The Xiaomi Poco M3's camera is just as good as the Galaxy M40 one, because although the Xiaomi Poco M3 has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for low-light photography and video, and they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, it also counts with a back camera with much more megapixels and a lot bigger sensor capturing way better quality photos.
Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 71% larger battery size.
